Just got word that the PSD are getting recall :eek: for stalling problems -:t affecting the 2004 and 2005 models and maybe the 2003 models. Just in time for the June issue of Diesel Power (FERD) magazine!
Glad to have chosen the Duramax :ro) .

I am refering to the over heating issue that some are clearly having, nothing else.

I wish that were true... My nickname at work as of late has been "Recall Suave" Did you know that 02 Trailblazers have 7 individual recalls? Did you know that the P/S pump replacement recall pays .9 and the Mitchell Labor Time Guide pays 2.4 for the same job? Sorry, rant off...Well

Ford doesn't have a choice with this one. Safety related recalls cannot get pushed under the table, so every manufacturer has to play ball on those.
I do agree with you on the voluntary recalls. "If we ignore the problem, then it doesn't exist" is no way to manage a business.

Just out of curiosity has anyone experienced this problem? I have a buddy with a 6.0 and would like to feed him some info.
