:help:
i bought a brand new injector pump from the dealer.
put it in,and it still doesn't start.
i also put a heath pmd kit in last week.
if i spray alittle starting fluid it starts and dies.
the lift pump is pumping. i opened all of the injector lines on the drivers side, and cranked it,none of them have any fuel coming out.
could the lift pump be weak? i disconnected the fuel line at the IP,and turn the key on and fuel pours out.
all of the fuses are good.

sounds like you have supply pressure. Are you positive the little black wire off the fuel solenoid is grounded well to the top of the ip? Do you have access to a scanner?

Hi quantum ,

the little black wire on the new pump was tightened,by who ever built it. it looks to have a paint on it.
i have a friend with a scanner.
i'm gonna stop by his shop tommorrow. seems like something in the injector pump isn't letting the fuel out. Michael

Or the ECM is out.

When you get the scanner hooked up, crank the engine over and watch in data display for CTIME (1.5-2.0ms), Cam and Crank Pulse Missed Counts (should be 0).

Are your GPs cycling when you turn the key on? That would tell you the ECM is getting powered up.
