I have an '03 D/A with K&N air intake, Edge Juice w/Attitude for aftermarket mods & noticed that my EGT's going up a grade, in Level 3/Boost 1, towing nothing, were 1068 degrees with an outside temp of 73 degrees. I will be towing 15K with 5th wheel this summer & realize that with temps this high I need to get 4" exhaust to try & lower the EGT's.
What is everyone else experiencing for EGT's with the Edge Juice w/Attitude?

I get about the same temps with stock intake and exhaust.

I wouldnt tow that high of a setting personally for fear of hurtng the trans. Set it to 1 or max of 2.

If you are concerned about EGT's and are going to put 15K behind you, I would not tow on anything more than level 1, maybe level 2 with a stock exhaust, just like ratlover says.....
I have seen temps above 1250 pulling our 12K 5'ver with a 4" exhaust and the J/A on level 1 on a long steep grade...
Once you put wieght behind you, the EGT's climb real quick....

I recently added the J/A to my truck. We went on a 1700 mile trip out to the Colorado River and back up to Yosemite and across to Lake Naciemiento. Climbed a lot of grades. The rig in my sig weighed out at 16,920 lbs. I was in level 2 and saw EGT's up to 1250 at which time I eased off the throttle. I did
check the records on the Attitude and it said I reached 1370 with a 15% backdown and a enginge temp of 232. My factory gauge never went over 210. I
am very happy with the extra power. Now all I have to do is be sensible using it and maybe I won't have to do the transmission upgrades. BTW I put on the Mike L. tranny cooler and the tranny temps never went over 188 and cooled off well after the grades......Hope that helps......
