Eventhough im a cummins Dodge/Cummins guy I thought i'd share my little creation with you guys. Took 2 old ariens chassis, an engine off a diesel generator, and a turbo off a saab. Will power through the heaviest of snowfalls no problem! Hoping to do a turbo diesel snowmobile next with 2 cylinder I have.

Man for such a small snowblower it chews through that snow and throws it far. Excellent work man, it's shiny and colourful too :D

Cool!!!

I'd love to have that power when the white crap gets wet and heavy! It would be able to sling it instead of getting backed up.

Makes my nice 8HP Simplicity look like a toy.

not a diesel but another cool snow blower i saw on another site

Info on blower - 454 cubic inch big block Chevrolet V8 produces 412 horsepower

Just in case your havin' any trouble removing snow from your driveway... this baby will blow snow back to where i t came from... more story at the bottom...

And now for the rest of the story....

If you're tired of anemic, one-lung snow blowers with their slipping drive belts, you might consider Kai Grundt's V8 snow blower which raises the bar on the traditional snow blower in every respect. With electric start, electric block heater, antifreeze heater and eight cylinders, it has no drive belts to freeze up and you'll never get bored with the job as the 454 cubic inch big block Chevrolet V8 produces 412 horsepower, 430 foot pounds of torque and can throw snow 50 feet at just 3500 rpm.

Nor will you get cold as the machine has been ingeniously designed to route the engine coolant through the handle bars, with the rear mounted, enclosed radiator keeping the operator nice and cozy.

On another diesel site a couple days ago, a thread was started with that same V8 snowblower and the diesel walk behind links were added. Now at DP, thread started with walk behinds and V8 pic was added. Too funny:D

Just makes plain common sense, gets the job done hassel free. People say I build weird stuff? I love to see fellow D/Per's raising the bar of creativity. And yup thats why I live in Orlando Fl. I could use that on a riding lawnmower though, Hmmmm
