I have approached my scheduled time of fluid changes. One of the items is on the Allison and it says to change the external spin on filter only.

My question is.. will you lose any fluid when removing this filter or just what is in the filter itself and do I need to add this amount back in?

yes,you will need to replace a little fluid.

Also don't forget the magnet on top of filter.
