Got one of the Nictane filters and was wondering if I run B20 biodiesel would that hurt anything? What kind of fuel line is used in the kits? :help: I love the kit and am about due to change the filter for the first time. That brings up another question. Should I change both filters at the same time? Advantages/disadvantages?
Thanks for any help.

Hi,

the kits will be switching to biodiesel compatible hose in the near future. the hoze currently being shipped seems to hold up fine to being submerged in it but technically isn't certified for bio.

it would be fine to change both filters at the same time. FYI - if you change just the cat filter you won't have to prime the truck (presuming you prefill the filter).

Well let me know what the hoses are switched to and I will replace them if I start running BioDiesel.
Thanks for the info on the filter change.:thankyou2

I'd like a set of those bio compatible lines as well.

I hope your planning on selling a Bio retrofit kit with OE style fittings...

I have been running Nick's kit for over a year on B20 to B99...no problemo.

Technically the hoses are not rated but they are holding up.

Not rated usually means not tested doesn't mean won't work. I've been running the B20 for almost 10K miles and the fuel lines are holding up just fine.

that is somewhat what i am thinking, but i'm just going by the book.. i like the dayco stuff better actually, but dayco doesn't make a 1/2" rated for bio..
