Would running the edge on level 1 and the predator on level 3 give good power results and would it be a safe stack to run on a stock allison. Currently running the edge in level 3 and the predator on level 1 "tow" with good results, but I have limped the tranny once so I'm getting a little gun shy.

I know for a fact that Edge 3 - Pred 2 is not safe...

Why do you say edge 3 / predator 2 is not safe? Would the predator in level 1 / Edge 3 be ok?

I don't understand why you would stack when one of those has more than enough power to kill your stock tranny. What a you gaining. dave

Well, since the edge has to be @ temp before it gives it power the predator is nice plus it helps the tranny keep from learning the low power until the juice kicks in.
The speed increase and tires size corrections are nice.
Run the predator in 40hp and let the juice handle the extra, since it's tranny protection can only cut what the juice adds.

Both in tow setting work good towing and for play bump up the juice to 2 or 3.

Now that you have already limped it the clutches aren't going to hold as well. You probably will find it easier to limp it with the stack you are using. I'd remove the predator tune and keep the Attitude/Juice at 3 or lower. Then at least the Edge will be able to lower the power to help the tranny survive. JMO.
