rigwatcher 01-06-2010, 09:18 PM I just bought a 03 duramax and the previous owner said that the command start quit one day when it was really cold out. Anything i should check? Its not so much that i need it to work, i havent ever had a remote start before (ya i know i must be the only person in canada that hasnt lol) but i'm a little anal about things working if they are there they need to work. rodder55 01-06-2010, 11:19 PM check remote battery there are two fuse on unit check both also do the park lights flash check all connections use the12volt.com for wiring info check the bypass may need to be reprogramed saskpuller 01-07-2010, 01:43 AM Unit maybe in service mode. Follow instructions in user guide on how to get out of that. When using the remote fob, Does it do anything? Locks work? Do lights flash at all when hitting any of the buttons? Tell me exactly what happens when hitting the lock/unlock and * start button. I'll get you thru this! rigwatcher 01-07-2010, 02:15 AM thanks for all the help guys!! nothing works on the remote...except the cool blue "things should be working" light. No park lights, no locks, no nothing. Its almost like the remote and truck arent communicating. The two lights on the antenna come on and stay on when the truck is shut off. They dissapear when the truck starts (with key) and nothing happens when i press the button on the antenna with the truck running. When its not running the leds will go out as long as im holding the button. Park lights also do not flash.
