i got halfway through removing my dpf, when i realized that i'm not as mechanically inclined as i thought i was. kinda disappointed in myself. anyways, i put everything back on, now i need to know if anyone knows any shops in south florida (palm beach county preferably) that will remove a dpf. i made some calls and no one will touch it. they seem to be afraid of a a federal fine or dealers coming after them on trucks traded in. understandable, i guess. anyone know a good shop that won't take me to the cleaners? :D

Might be tough to find a shop that'll do it... try again? I dunno you got halfway there might as well give 'er another go. Search DPF Delete here and you'll get tons of great step by step's on how to do it. What confused you?

try some of the kroil oil. it works really well I used it on all my exhaust bolts and we use it like crazy freeing rusted and corroded bolts on our boats. worth its weight in gold

If you want to come to tampa go to Huff muffler they make custom exhausts and do good welding they will do it they have tons of stuff around their shop saying that they wont remove emissions equipment but they really will. They did my cat delete and welded my pipes up and theyre pretty cheap. Here is thier site:

For some reason I thought palm beach was closer but try the exhaust shops in your area you have to go in and actually talk to the people who run the exhaust shop in person because if a shop openly said they willing to remove emissions equipment they could get in trouble thats like asking a tint shop to do limo tint on your truck over the phone it doesnt work ive tried.
