hello, please dont grumble, i am looking at buying an 04 or 05 D/A and cannot find the info i need with the searces i tried. What manufacturing month, located on the drivers door, would determine if it has a LLY or not? ( 11/03 ,,, 03/04 etc.) OR---- is there an easier way? I understand that the LLY is a stronger, and easier to service of its predecessor. As i have read it here on this forum, Thanks, Wuntun

Hey wuntun, welcome to the Place! To tell the difference between an LLY and an LB7 is simple and it is by reading the VIN#. 8th digit the the motor identifier. Example:
1GCHK231 = an LB7
1GCHK232 = an LLY
