Hey guys, I tried to search for this but couldn't find a straight answer. I am installing a new deck in my 04 LLY in the next couple of days, so I can add my subs and use my ipod with the new deck. I've installed quite a few decks in my day, but they were all pretty straight forward with your standard wiring harnesses. My question is, do I need some fancy overpriced wiring harness? My truck has a Bose stereo, no XM, no OnStar. I don't really care about the door chimes (unless there is something major I am missing here) and at this point I don't mind losing my steering wheel controls. If decide I cant live without them, I can add the interface for that in the future. Any help is appreciated.

You will need one if you plan on using your bose amp to power your speakers.

That's what I was afraid of. Guess I'll have to cough up the dough then :(
