Installed a 2505 in my truck 3years ago. Always functioned great until this am when I tried to start the truck. Nothing. Then I tried to key start it and it would turn and shut right off the first 2 tries. On the third it fired and ran fine except for a check engine light. Checked the code U0101. Cleared it and drove to work. Later today I attempted a start again with the remote. Nothing and now when I went out and key started it the truck fired up fine but another code. Talked to DEI they said it could be bypass module. Has anyone had any issues like this and what module would you recommend if it is the module? He did say there is a data wire under the sill plate on the drivers side that gets pinched and can cause the same issue. He said it is common on these trucks and they have found it to be an issue numerous times when they are troubleshooting. Always elicits a U0101 code...:confused:

Okay, maybe it should be kept but this was a total mistake.
NEVER let your 5 year old sit in the drivers seat in the driveway while you are checking your oil. He must have hit the switch to disable the start feature, which by the way is under the dash...:D So, after numerous calls to Astroflex and wasting Max's time I figured it out by looking at the obvious. At least if anyone is ever looking for why a U0101 code that might be the culprit if you have an Astrostart...sorry guys!
