I have a set of 35" toyo mt tires I have had for a few (2 or 3) years. They are new, never mounted and have been in a heated garage for their life. Will these tires dry out or go bad? I plan on running them someday but I hope they aren't wrecked. They look OK...

Thanks.

Well a tire out doors will be getting bad in 4-5 years but inside it will be longer but how much I do not know. They will be a little stiffer for sure. Just use them before its to late or you can send them to me.:D

I say they would go bad.
As far as time frame goes I'm guessing a long time in a heated garage.Treat them like you would leather seats only for rubber.

tires dry out even in the garage obviously not as bad as outside in the elements but they will still dry out

I would NOT put any kind of tire goo on them either, just leave them au naturel.

Yes given enought time they will.
Being out side in the sun and weather just accelerates it.

After a certain amount of years, no matter what the tires have been through, they will go bad. There is a date stamped on every tire, you can see when they were made. Tires typically last about 6-8 years before they need to be replaced, even if the tread is new. This information is from my local discount tire store.
