The Bow Tie in my 3500 grill doesn't look so hot. Does anyone make a self adhesive Bow Tie thingy or do you have to replace the grill? Thanks hds

The bowtie on the '03 is held in place by a pair of 10mm "nuts" that screw onto plastic pins that fit through the chrome grille. Easy to remove and replace with billet, new OEM, or paint your original bowtie.

Bow ties were available on www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com also. they are the same for the Avalanche and the 05 Silverado. I purchased mine from the club sponsor and have it installed.

I had Walter Rapp do my bowties. There are some pictures of his work here (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23010&highlight=Walter+rapp) :cool2:
