I have a 2007 Sierra Classic crew cab Duramax with 20,000 miles that I bought new. Lately I have been getting alot of requests from General Motors Parts Protection about and extended warranty. I'm just curious how many of you have the extended warranty and your overall thoughts on getting one. Thanks for your time.

Just purchased the GM extended warranty myself. Have 23k miles on my 07 classic D/A. Thought it was a good idea.

I bought the standard extended warranty when I got the truck. Had so many problems before the 3/36 expired, I upgraded the extended to the $0 copay. It has now expired, but on one of my last visits, I had the dealer run a check to see how much the warranty had paid out. It was more than double the cost of the warranty. Don't leave home without it, IMO.
