heated seats quit working and there are many great post here, but I tested the elements and 3 are good (2 x 5.4;3.8) I cannot get any reading on the driver side brown and black wire,does any one know or recall which element this is to ease my ordering.

Try www.rockauto.com , under "Body-Interior", then "Seat Heater Pad" .
They show a seat bottem and a seat back.
Generally they have very good prices.

I should be more specific, in the plug one has a yellow & Black wire and one has a Brown & Black wire. I need the brown and black and was wondering if that one is the bottom or back,Its -20 my truck doesnt fit in the garage so I dont want to tear it apart and reasemble it twice.

Heated seats not working (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=340784) hope this helps:) also no reading? check by the seat belt latch there is a green 2 wire plug which comes from the grey six wire plug. the green plug feeds the bottom element, it may be diconnected. the seat back element has the grey plug attached along with the green plug....

Mine stopped working as well. $864 for new elements at the dealership...YIKES!
