My wife has been driving the '99 WS6 I got for her right before we got married over a year and a half ago. The ABS system went out on the car, then the headlight motors, and the stock rearend was worn out. So we spent about 2 months trying to find her a reliable daily driver.

We ended up with a 2006 LBZ extended cab 4x4 with 78k miles. Got it from the original owner. All options except leather. The guy had just put on new MKW 20s with Nitto M/T's all the way around. We got the bed linex'd with Xtra this week and put on some chrome Big Country nerf bars. Mark from Danville sent over a 80 HP tune that really has the truck moving. It already had stock diameter exhaust that was changed over to straight pipe.

AEM HD intake and gauges are on the way along with a Cognito leveling kit and some firestone air bags.

Sweet ride for the wife man, did ya get a good deal on it?

I told her I would trade her my trucks for this one, but she said no way. We paid book for it without adding in the wheels/tires. Plus we got the stock wheels. And the owner had his dealership replace all of the little bulbs that go out (including all of the steering wheel buttons). Not a killer deal like what I did on my previous two trucks but not bad either.

No idea why GM has that black spacer in there but if its removed and the bumper is raised it looks a lot cleaner and looks like it belongs. Also, gives you more clearance with larger tires to.
