That's what I thought! Where would you buy them and what do I look for? Just tell parts store what I have or buy form E-bay? What would you do?

look around local for some used ones. if no luck try ebay. wreckers should have them. guys who do old chevy's might have. i keep a box of them in case i break them

Usually new ones can be had for less than $100, i would do that over ebay/used ones (i really hate old style locking hubs that are about 20 pieces). I put a new set of warn ones, that i got from Carquest for $60 (For a Dana 44)... just to give you an idea :) If you have a local carquest, they probablly have em cheap.

i always liked the spicer ones better. i've broken a few warn's. if a warn breaks, its unlocked. if a spicer breaks it stays locked, which i thought was better when i was stuck somewhere

i would go with the manual ones , i have been left high and dry in the snow with them auto lock things. bet you could find them used online.

my point is, that for the price of new hubs, used ones really aren't worth messing with. Generally, when someone sells used ones, they may be serviceable, but generally my experience tells me they were pulled for a reason. New units are pretty well priced, and you are asking for a lot less headaches buying new.

i see alot of used axles around portland for 150 figured it wouldn't hurt to see if they would sell the hubs for 40 bucks or less.

I think someone took it. It is just the driver side. I think I would have noticed it if it would have fallen off while driveing, maybe not. I parked it in our lower drive and the next day it was gone!

if youve ever watched CORVAIRWILD's videos on youtube you know that mile marker hubs are trash. they only engage half of the teeth inside. whereas a warn hub locks around 3/4 of the teeth and theres alot more teeth. i put some warn hubs inmy truck for around 100 bucks for the 2 of em and have had no issues with them so far and ive driven them hard. ive done 4lo clutch dumps and had the front end hopping in hard snow and nothing has givin way yet.
