In order to do the Transgo for the 2001 to I think 2005 you have to pull the whole trans anyways. So might as well just wait until you do the whole thing. I know I only want to pull mine once. The 2006-up can get the transgo Jr. and be good.

the transgo kit for 2001-2003 you have to replace a spring or two in the atf pump in the front of the tranny but it isnt that hard. you do have to drop the tranny and take the bell houseing off to get to it. and the rest of the kit is valve body mods. if you have two full days to do it you can. its not that bad. but it is worth it. but if you are going to do a complete tranny in a year i would wait.

will doing a trans jr or the bully dog shift enhancer help with the trq converter. it feels like it slips a very little when in 5. only if im passing someone. not all the time but just once in a while.

You will get minimal results with the transgo jr. in a 5 speed and the bullydog is useless in any model. I cant believe Bully Dog is still selling that piece of shit they call a shift enhancer. I would personally just save my money until I could do at least a stage 3 build with a converter.
