Can you bump any timming into a 6.2 with a ats turbo and if you can how much should you go?

There's no simple answer for that question superman.

Timing advance is only to get your injection timing back to where it supposed to be, by compensating for timing chain slack. Try advancing a lines width and see how it runs. If its got way too much detonation clatter and overheats, then you've gone too far.

Thanks texas diesel guy I was wondering if it was like a gas engine and they seem to like a little timing.I tried advancing it from were I had it and it started to detonate so I will have to move it back.
