Anybody had any cab roof noise(thin steel) cruising down the hwy starting about 70 mph
with heaving head wind? thanks

Yes, since I installed a GM hood deflector. I have a wind noise at the 'top of the windshield'. Sounds like a flag slapping in the wind. It starts at 75mph and gets vicious as speed increases.

Yes, I hear it too. I had the windshield tapping noise with the bugshield, but this is different. It almost sounds like someone is walking on a tin roof. Only with strong head or cross winds. GM is going to have to start putting the ridges in the extended cabs, like they do on the crew cabs, to stiffen them up. Gets pretty annoying at times. I wonder if cab lights make it worse?

If you use window sealer on the sides of the front windowshield under the rubber seal , that's where the air gets under it at higher speeds. You can use double back tape also.

I get the same noise it gets old fast just have to find the right window combination and it go's away. The two 12's in the back rattle it pretty good to:ro) .
