well it isnt that big of a deal. but when its cold out, i start my truck up and my fan doesnt work on 5. works fine on 1-4, and the weird thing is that after its warmed up i can jump in it and turn the fan to 5 and it works fine. any ideas?

also i believe my factory high idle is disabled how do i enable it?

For the Blower, either the Lower resistor module has poor solder connections on it, or the plug feeding it has begun to melt.

It's a typo. "Blower Resistor Module"

The switch on the '03 and newer never fails as it has no current going through it. All the heat and current are in the "Blower Resistor Module"
