: light knocking in steering wheel ( LMM) Bad Max 01-01-2010, 09:03 PM I have this light knocking or tapping in the steering wheel of my 09 LMM HD2500. In the past I have owned two 2500 HD, 01 is a gasser and 06 is a diesel. The dealer had to open up the steering column to pack with grease.
