Truck ran and started fine the night before and sat outside over night in -10 weather. this morning went to start and wouldnt crank over at all just clicks once. threw the charger on it still nothing. plugged it in all day and nothing. Any ideas?

I would also like to know what you found. But I whoud guess that the batteries were bad & or low on charge & froze.

I live in So Cal, No idea what cold weather will do to batteries, hope you figure it out and sounds like the batteries to me..

Replaced the batteries with brand new ones and it did the same thing clicked and nothing. So we towed it into a heated garage and tried it later but it still just clicked. turned the key over prob ten times and the last time it started so somethin in the ignition isn't right i'm thinkin, but it only did it once since then and it only took two turns of the key and it fired up.:confused:

Starter has a dead spot or spots in it! The ignition just kinda locks up when it goes bad. Next time it just clicks, smack it with a hammer, if it doesnt help youll at least feel better. But really smack it with a hammer.
