brad carlin 06-12-2005, 01:16 AM what is the correct steps taken to change the ecm, we have a brand new ecm & a tech 2 on hand, installing the vin number seems to be the problem. d/a cc 2004. need help, no gm dealers in australia have any care factor, regards brad Diesel Power 06-12-2005, 11:30 AM i believe truck info must be programmed into tech2 before programming ECM. i don't think you can just "key in" the VIN #.. Would need to have a dealer or someone with the CD's to download the program into the tech II for you | ||
