Well, this week has been hard on the ol burb. My wife found a 100 yr old piano that weighed about 1000 lbs that she wanted me to pick up. I figure tow the trailer with the burb, no big deal. I got on the highway and noticed it running very hot. I then realized I forgot to pull the cover from the radiator. As soon as I did that it cooled off. Then the next day I started up the burb and started hooking up to the trailer again and I noticed a massive puddle under the truck, great I thought I blew the oil pan. Ended up being the oil cooler line came loose. Changed the oil and we are good to go again. Glad this thing is a workhorse.

Hear all the time about people blowing a head gaskets or throwing a rod for doing what happened to me. I think I am very lucky. I wish all engines were like this, reliable and cheap. Good torque compared to my other gasser engines.

I think I finally talked my wife into letting me pull the engine, parting out the rest of the burban and when the engine fails on the Blazer, putting the engine in there. Its already got a tick when running so it might not be as long as she thinks before that engine goes. Cant wait to put a diesel in the ol Blazer.
