the other day i was at a stop light and all the sudden my truck started shaking. it was idoling very rough. this was in drive. so i put it in reverse back up a little and put it in drive and it is fine. hasnt done it since. was this just a one time deal or is this a sign of something bad a head.

Could be Fuel Rail Pressure Valve or injectors.Run a Tech II scan on the balance rate first.I have had BOTH changed but I still will get a lop or surging crappy idle at times.

Dunno,when it finally breaks guess I'll find out as it sucks to ride around with the Tech II booted just waiting for it to happen and those pepes blowing the horn at the light just have no patiences.

I had the same problem this weekend. I was sitting traffic and the the oil pressure was low under 30 psi and it started idling rough what I would make out as a miss. Did it a couple times over the weekend when it was hot out side 90 deg plus. Didn't do it today put taking it to the dealer tomorrow to see whats up.

Mine has done it, changed the fuel filter, it went away.

Oil pressure low under 30? Mine has never been above 14 at an idle and sometimes goes as low a 9. But the delaer say thats normal, my azz its normal.

My rough idle is from the bad pressure sensor that the dealer says is normal as well.
