How do 40" Pro Comp tires run down the road? What pressure can you run and how do they feel compared to the stock 245/70/19.5's? Do they improve the ride and how do they compare to 22.5's? I'd like to get some and wanted to get some input prior to taking the jump. Any help would be great. Thank you.

My truck came with those, So I have no comparison to the 19.5's, other than driving 2 other 4 dr. 4x4 Kodiak/Topkicks...1 was a 4500 and the other a 5500. Both were longer WB trucks with 12 and 14 foot flatbeds. Both had 19.5's.
I think my truck rides better than both of those?

However, they were "truck" trucks.
The Ironhide I have, has air-seats, air-rear suspension, and the Hystek cab mounts.
I don't think either of the other trucks I drove had any of those things?

This is what I run on my C4500 4x4... I have 4" deavers in the front. I run the 40x13.50R20 Pro Comp Xtreme A/T on my truck. I've had both and the 40s are night and day difference.

Shocker,

Are you running singles on the rear. Also, what wheels are you running? How does the truck handle short choppy bumps?
