Iwas on my way to work when I made a stop. When I came back out and started 'er up, the AC would not turn back on. I drove about 50 yards in a parking lot, shut the truck off and restarted and the AC worked.
Any ideas????

The low side pressure switch on the accumulator is bad. If your pressure switch has a brown band around it replace it. This has been an issue with this particular switch. Just have your dealer give you the newest # in their catalog as they have been updated. Tim

Eric, I checked today and the newest part # is not superseeded in the parts catalog. The original is 1132749 for 99-02. The updated part is 89040362 and is said to be only for the 03-04. I personally would use the new # as the original replacement still has the brown band around it. Good luck Tim
