I want to put a new radio with two amps and new speakers in my truck, what kind off problems will i have if any? i know my onstar won't work, i have a very nice radio with a xp tuner and a 6 disk changer i took out off my other truck,just don't know if i put in if it will hurt the truck in any way, thanks for you help

You will lose your door chime, which many people would consider an advantage because it's so stinkin loud.

I have heard about an adapter that will keep onstar and steering wheel controls operating?But have not had the opportunity to see it work.Also last time I programmed a radio with Tech 2 there is an update for loud chime.
