I have the truck in my signature and want a new tranny tune it is a built tranny so it can obviously take my trucks power. Does anyone have a tranny tune they recommend or is the stock tune suitable? I just dont want my truck to get detuned because of the tranny tune any help would be appreciated.

Why do you want a different tranny tune? Are you simply after raising or lowering your shift points? Or something else?

just wondering the tune for my tranny now is junk so I am going to put the stock on in. I wasnt sure if there were ones people have made that run better. Also there is a TORQUE parameter I wasnt sure if that should be changed so the tranny doesnt limit itself so it doesnt get damaged as if it were a stock one (not a built one).

Your tranny tune should be left stock (other then shift points) unless you really know whats going on.
If your having shifting problems, and/or de-fueling problems I suggest you look at your ECM tune.

Leave the torque tables in the TCM alone and make your changes in the ECM to change defueling. Who did your tuning before? I noticed you said in another post it had a modded TCM tune in it now. You can always run the 01 OS as it is pretty dumb and slow to learn. This is what many people do with them to prevent the ALLISON from rapidly adapting all the time, but I don't personally think it drives all that great for regualr easy driving.

X2 for the 01 OS. I love it

I have my tranny tune modded out... I built the torque tables around the power and slightly lowered the shift times. I also have the shift speeds changed to help pull the stock alli through the power.
IMO I have gained alot from my tranny tune. When I take people for rides they cannot believe its stock...lol

I got the stock tune out of the tune library here but now when I try to do a full reflash for the TCM it tells me the TCM is not secured I just licenses the TCM with my flashscan but it wont work. Any clue?

Unplug everything and connect it all again.

Just wondering out loud...why would you be wanting a tranny tune while at the same time selling a EFI unit in another thread? You have 2 Flashscans? You should leave the tranny tune alone...imho

There are benefits to be gained out of a trans tune, if you know what you are doing. Stay away from the shift timing tables if you are not sure!
