I've always liked that particular gauge overlay, with the exception of the ABS & Brake lights. I wish they had left that area black, just like the upper warning lights.

US Speedo

Yeah I don't care for that either but I understand why it is like that because those lights sit in the area of the tach and if you use the factory lense there is nothing seperating those areas so it would look funny if just the bottom was black and there was nothing seperating it

That's a big difference over stock, I like it! It would def. look better w/ the abs area blacked out. They should seperate it somehow

I think it looks great! Not over the top like some of them.

Oh hell yes!
I want one! Darn Santa already came and I didn't have it on my list.
Gota go swap something then :D

What's the P/N for that one?

Here are the US Speedo part numbers

USS-SS-120-05-42D is the silver Gauge face

USS-LEN-041 is the chrome lens

USS-NED-051 is the carbon fiber/red needles

The needles I bought were on the pricey side there are cheaper options availiable

I have $340 dollars in the cluster which includes 3 new light bulbs and all new stepper motors
a new plain cluster from Gm will be $400 plus and you need to have it reprogrammed to your mileage
if you have a 06-07 the stepper motors are the updated ones and don't need to be replaced

Kevin How do you find that gauge overlay when driving at night on the highway? Is it too distracting? I want one but drive a lot at night.

I actually wish it was brighter it is not distracting although the orange portions glow brighter than the rest

Thanks for this thread Kevin.. I am sending my gauge cluster in to US Speedo to be rebuilt and have the stainless kit installed (NOT the carbon fiber needles like you did) but the satin hubs with blue pointers on a gauge kit with blue numbers...:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
