I just heard from dealer after my high balance rate failed about not covered under warrenty. He said 3 bad injectors but since the balance rate did not pass the right test gm would not cover them. He suggested to replace all 8 of them when I have them done because of the new updated/or improved injectors. I have not read of a new redesigned injector . He also suggested to call customer service to see if I could get some help from gm.Is there a new and improved injector? Thanks

I just got back from dealer and the upgrade he was talking about was the re-designed in 06 so I guess their is no good replacement injectors. The higher balance rate on injectors made me not qualify under warrenty good luck to all with yours and hope everyone has a great christmas or holiday.

Search is your friend, there is a legthy discussion on this here and it was mid year 08 that the latest redeign for the hardened ball seat valve took place. It's a bit early to say if it works or not though as not many of the newer ones have many miles on them yet.
