: Installed Killerbee IOH and Edge CTS Evolution, odd noise in cab now

I had the dealer (yeah, I know...it's just too close to Christmas and I didn't have time...) install the Killerbee IOH and EGT probe into the exhaust manifold and run the wires into the cab for the Evolution CTS.

After I picked it up and drove off, I noticed kind of a light rattle or clicking sound in the cab that wasn't there prior to the install. The noise doesn't pick up when I rev it up, but when I'm in gear and driving I can hear it. Don't think it's anything major but want to check and see if anyone's come across that before. Almost sounds like there's a hole in the firewall and it's letting a little more noise in.

Also noticed that the new mouth piece is a little wobbly, not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or what. If I grab it I can wiggle it a little bit clockwise and counter clockwise. Is this normal?

I'm just kickin myself right now, shoulda just waited until after Christmas and done the install myself....Any ideas/input is greatly appreciated.

The clicking sound is probably the mouthpiece rattling around.

I have the IOH kit also and my MP is NOT wobbly. It's secure and won't move unless I loosen the large clamp that holds it tight to the turbo. Better get it checked. Sounds like someone didn't install things correctly. I installed my IOH kit.

Check the firewall where they ran the wires through. They should have used a rubber grommet. I would put some GE Silicone II where the wiring come thought the firewall to seal things up. You don't want hot engine air coming in the cab when its 95° out.

Update: Checked band clamp, it was loose. Tightened up band clamp that holds MP to turbo, went to work and noise is still there.

Cabling ran through large grommet already in firewall by main fuse box in engine compartment. They put what looks like dynamat over the top of the grommet. Going to check and see if it just needs to be sealed up better.

If you didn't check carefully when you tightened the band clamp, I would loosen it again and make sure the MP is seated completely. The clamp should evenly cover the lip on the turbo and the lip on the MP. It's really tight in there, but try to see (with a flashlight) and feel as much around as you can. Then re-tighten carefully. It should snug down completely (nothing loose).
