Just got a 07' lbz and I was looking under the hood and was wondering where is the best place to drill a hole in the intake tubes for installing a boost gauge also is the hoot method on the right rear of the exhaust manifold that's where I had the onld one in the 05' lly thanks for the help...

Use the hoot method just as you did before on the the exhaust manifold. As for the boost tap location, I always remove the passenger side intercooler pipe (not really a pipe, it's just 2 45 degree elbows and a boot) and drill the intake horn where it point down so all the shavings fall out. Good luck

PS the passenger side intercooler pipe is a little finicky to remove sometimes.

It's a bit mor labor intensive, but I prefer to pull the intake plenum and mount to the rear similar to the LLY tap pictured here:

I have mine in an SD manifold (hot side) now. Any better to move it to the cold side when I do my EGR delete ? More accurate #'s ?
