NO timing marks, need a scanner to set TDC Offset.
I've done a couple, but until you get a scanner, I can't help you much.

Check with your local fuel injection shop. Their price will probably be less than half what the dealer wants and they can help you on the install. Look in the yellow pages under diesel injection or engines-diesel.

Or try here to find an authorized shop:

Hint: You should be able to see a triangular pattern\mark on the timing cover where the original pump was located.

Place the new bare pump in that exact location, without a gasket, before you assemble all the pipes and such.

Make sure the triangular pump flange lines up exactly with the timing cover pattern, tighten the top nut, then scribe a timing mark, or use a sharp chisel, across the timing cover and inj pump flange.

Remove the pump, re-assemble pipes and everything, using new gasket, line up the pump on that mark, tighten it all down, and the timing should be within spec.

Prime and bleed the new pump and inj pipes, and it should be good to go..

Do the TDCO song and dance thingy, then have it all checked with a scanner.
