I am running BFG 285/75R/16 tires on my 2500 HD C/C 4X4 Duramax, and was wondering what most people were running for air pressure for general driving/not towing, and then what pressure people were running when towing around a 8,000lb load.

Thanks

I have 285 BFG AT's and run 50psi unloaded. Run the max psi when towing.

I've got 50 in the front and 45 in the rear empty. Although I need to let a little more out of the rears before the centers wear out on me.

Ditto on what WASkier said. I ran 50 in the rears (basically unloaded) and after 5000 miles you could see that the center tread was slightly more worn than the edges. I'm now running 50 up front and 45 in the rear. If I load up the bed and pull my boat, I put 60 in the rear.

50 w/ no load & 65 to 70 in rear w/ 8500 lbs of trailer + load (1000 lbs of tongue weight.) I bump the front tires up to 55 w/ the load. Works well & rides great.
