Is a Co-Pilot upgrade enough to handle the extra HP from the Juice on setting 5?
Or should I do the whole tranny (Stage 5)?? I don't tow much, just want to play on the street and strip.

If your sure the Juice is all you want to run...just do a transgo, and an aftermarket converter from ATS, Suncoast, or TTS.

I personally don't know of anyone running a co-pilot by itself. Many have ran the above combo with no issues.

There is no need to buy a full race trans. if you are only planning on running the juice.

I ran the CoPilot alone for a couple of months. It still zinged the trans on the freeway with the Quad 135. Could have been clutches were already damaged, they recommend if your going to use it alone put it on a trans with good clutches (before running boxes).

By good clutches I mean unabused. If you've been running a power box at high levels, you've probably been slowly killing them. They will start to burn up and loose holding power, and once burned, they cannot be forced to hold more power even with increased line pressure according to ATS.
I would not recommend just a CoPilot, I'd get into the trans a little more, at least a transgo kit and convertor.
Scour the trans threads, there is a lot of good info to be found. Mike L. is a wealth of knowledge on the Allison and is a good person to direct questions to also.
