Does anyone know if the fuel fill neck from an '05 will fit an '03??

What is different about the 05 over the 03? If it is larger I am interested in making a change because I fill up often at truck stops with the high flow nozzles.

The 04 LLy switched to a larger filler neck like there used to be on the diesels before the duramax.

The 01 thru 04 LB7 have a smaller filler neck and more importantly a difrent vent system that makes it tough to fill up at the big nozzle truck stops.

You can replace the filler neck but you still have to vent the tank somehow when your filling up.

I put a fast fill kit from transfer flow that replaces the filler neck and runs a new vent line thats part internal and part external on the fill tube.

If you do a search of fast fill kit there should be plenty of reading.
