I was in traffic yesterday w/ my 14,000# trailer.
Got stopped at a light on 4 lane road and I'm in inside lane.
Needless to say when I stepped on the fuel a little hard (predator 40hp and juice level1/lf 5) it smoked out the whole lane beside me :ro) .

The traffic didn't move :eek:

Anyone else see that kind of smoke on the tow settings.

When I have run the predator on 40 and the VA on the low setting I get some pretty good smoke not towing anything.

I don't see it in your sig, do you have your tranny upgraded?

I don't and I like the feel of the 40hp setting with the VA on low but I am not sure how long I want to run that way.

I totally engulfed a car yesterday with the Pred 40 and E/J 5/5. All I could say was OOPS! I didn't mean to do that.

One reason I pulled my Predator off was for excessive smoke. I was smoking everyone out without even trying - 1/2 throttle. Save your money for the Hot Juice (if it ever comes), PPE or TTS.

Dmax Tim. Good luck stacking Predator 100 with Juice 5/5. It won't work with anything over the Predator 40 setting on the LLY without severe consequences, not counting your transmission. You need to consider even more smoke (locomotive like - which is only funny the first time), EGT's, surging and other abnormalities.

I know, some are having trouble w/ lower juice levels and the 40hp but mine is running OK @ 40hp w/ juice 5-5, the alli may not like it for long.
