ok i im looking to buy a suburban with 350/350 and want to put a 6.2 diesel in her... will it work? bolt pattern wise. or what would i need to get this done?

It will work. You'll need a diesel flexplate (aka flywheel, but flexplate is for autos). Motor mounts are the same, so it should be pretty much a drop-in as far as mounting goes. Then you'll have some electrical work to do, and do be sure you get the vast majority of the gasoline out of your tank before you try and run her on diesel.

you'll need the throttle position switch for vacuum that mounts on the IP. they were used on th400's

AKA vacuum modulator. If the TH350 had been converted to a TV cable though, you'll need a special diesel TV cable instead.

Does the TH350 have a kickdown solenoid? If so, you might need the switch by the accelerator pedal that activates the solenoid. I know my TH400 has it.

th350's kick down with cable, same bracket and look alike cable at 700r. the electric kick down is only th400. they do have a vacuum modulator stock
