I read this artical/write-up (very good http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=198162&highlight=front+diff+oil+change) and have a question. In the front diff he used 75w-90 and in the rear he used 75w-110... why? I just got a quote for Amsoil for my truck and they have it as 75w-90 for both front and rear...

Wondering why the differnace?

nevermind... I guess if I would have read a little further along I would have found the answer...

Just to answer this for others. Some people who do a lot of towing or racing of the truck bump up to the 75W-110 gear oil for better protection.
