Hello all I am looking for a concensus on which tire to run. I have a 3/4ton 2500hd dmax crewcab. I currently have toyo mt's and have a terrible vibration with them on. I have had my wheels balanced and they take a huge amount of weight with the toyos. I used to have coopers on before and they did not require much weight. I am thinking there is something up with the toyos? Looking at bfg's or open to anything some of you may have had luck with. I don't drive the truck a whole lot. I have 19,000 miles on it and average around 9,000 a year. Thanks in advance.

Maybe it is possible you have a bent wheel? You could have a out of round tire too but that is very rare with toyo! Toyos usually take the least amount of weight to balance.

I have the same tires as you and they balanced great.

I would agree that the Toyo MT require very little weight to balance.....i ran a set with no weights for a while one time.....very happy with mine and should get around 50000miles out of them

I would stay away from the Kumho road venture MT....they wear fast and hard to rotate since they are dirrectional....also the ProComp X-terrain and extreme all terrain arent great tires...i had a set of the X-terrain 35" tires and two of my friends has the extreme AT and all 12 tires had major sidewall cracking...right at the bead.

i have 33x12.50x18's and they are the smoothest, best tire ive run, the tireshop that mounted them for me was shocked at how well they balanced and said they didnt even need weights but did it anyway, couldnt be happier. You have a bent rim or something wrong with your truck, or a out of round tire.

Thanks for all of the comments. I will visit with the tire balancer tommorrow to see why the toyos are taking so much weight.
