I've been shopping around for a 4500 4x4 and am amazed at the difference in price between the same truck with and without the Monroe bed.
My dealer is asking $20k for the bed.
There has to be somewhere to buy this thing or modify a Chevy bed to fit.
Any help guys.
Thanks,
Michael

Monroe is pricey. Have you thougth of going with a differnt bed? Here is a link with several bed manufacturers.

My bed was about $12K.

Far as I know Monre will only install their "bed" they willl not sell it without being installed- some deal they made with GM as a suplier- that said they quoted me around 9k installed and they need the truck for a few days. call them 1-800-847-6900

Before I bought my used 4500, my local dealer quoted me $10K for the pickup bed and $9K for the hauler bed. John

You guys built my truck. I love it but my central hydrulics are a hard item to figue out. I want to put a mile marker winch and run it off the existing system . Will it work on the plow in/out attachments point?. i dont want to cut into the power sterring unit. Also what about a additional port to run a generatoror / air compressor?
