I'm looking at picking up a set of H2 wheels to powder coat black for next spring. The question I have is this....On a truck that just has tbars cranked so it sits level can I fit 315/70/17's? I want the fenders to be full. I've already done some minor trimming from when I had my 305/55/20's on there before. Thanks for any info guys.

I dont think there is anyway you can I have 33-12.50-18s and there is no more room at all and a 315-70 is quite a bit taller than that like, 2 inches. So i dont see it happening

That link shows multiple trucks clearing 35's.....so YES they do fit with some modifications and the correct offset wheels. H2's have the correct offset for clearing 35's.

After some research it does look like they'll fit, depending on how much you want to crank the t-bars and trim sheet metal and plastic. Looks like most at least have a leveling kit of some sort and blocks in the rear. Some of those trucks look really good though!

Thanks for the help guys. I think I'll go with a 305/70 or a 285/75. Can't wait til next spring now so I can get em mounted up and put on the truck. It looks too freakin' wimpy with 265/70/16's on it.

I have 275/65-17 on H2's not cranked and they clear fine, good balance size fit.

you can fit them just depends on the wheel/tire specs and if more trimming would be needed which you probably will need to do.

Thanks for the info Conedoctor but I'm not interested in putting 31's under it. They leave WAY too much fender well open.
mmangels22....They are H2 wheels of an 08 H2...not sure on the backspacing or any other specs for those (Can anybody help me out with this part) and I really want to run the Hankook RT03 Mud Terrains on it.
Note: My dad picked up the wheels last night and ended up getting all 5 for 200.

I agree I like the look of putting more tire under the truck the pizza cutters just don't do it for me honestly.
