My 98 GMC with 6.5 diesel surges when you apply the throttle. its like the trottle is an on off switch. the faster you go the worse it gets. if the truck is under load it runs fine but down hill or under no load it jerks.The prob seems to get a little better when warm but over 45 it doesn't matter what the temp is. quantum mechanic 06-09-2005, 03:37 AM It's time to replace the injector pump. GEEO 06-12-2005, 01:39 PM OK,I changed the filter, and the PMD with no change. You need an extra PMD anyway. NAPA wants 1,000.00 for a reman pump so i orderd a new one from a GM dealer for 1,100.00 .
