You can check on the portion that runs through AZ here,

Looks clear right now. Click on the little camera icons to see the images from the DOT cameras.

Flagstaff area just got some snow, but I'm sure it cleaned up by now.

You take US-54 through Kansas or 40 through OK and then North?

I'm from Wichita, KS, so I know that stretch of highway pretty well. I hate driving I-40 through OK. It's alright in a car or half ton, but damn it's rough in an HD truck. Have a safe trip brother.

What do you mean by damn rough? Wheel ruts and shit? I'll be headin from okmulgee, ok (alpha motocross) to anadarko, ok (woodland hills mx park) in march on a trip down there pulling a toy hauler.

Kinda hard to explain. Think of a concrete road, and at every seam between the concrete slabs there is a bump. Now drive over these bumps for hundreds of miles. Not so bad in a car thanks to soft suspension. In our trucks the rear springs are so stiff that it makes for a rough ride. Not all of I-40 in OK is like that but much of it is. I had heard some talk of road repairs in OK but it's been a year since I last drove the stretch east of OK City, and 2 years since I drove the stretch west of OK City, so maybe they have improved since then.

I would think it wouldn't be as bad while towing. The extra weight on the rear might smooth out the bounce.

Thanks man will do. Let me know if you are ever going through Joplin. I will be moving back home shortly after this deployment.

We got some roads like that here. They suck in trucks! Pnt, let us know how the road is when you get back, especially the east section.
