Im thinking about switching over to some stacks from my 5 inch strait pipe exaust. Im just thinking that some big fat dual black mitre cut stacks sticking up from the bed of a lifted cc would look awesome....anybody have any opinions? Annoying loud or not too bad?

The sound is awesome. I dont think anything sounds better than stacks. I sold mine because it would get soot on the bed on start ups after rain but I went back to a stack because I couldnt do without the sound.

I have thought about doing a 6-7 " single stack but I know I woulndn't like the soot everwhere, and my kids would get sick of hearing it when pulling our 10k camper.
But the main reason I haven't done it yet is that you are drawing attention to the fact that you have removed the stupid DPF!

Nice, My ex loved driving around with the dual 7"s I had....but I hated the curb marks I had after she drove. Anyways, I have a single 8" miter now and it does have a drone. If you get it up just a little over the cab its not bad at all. My duals were up a good 6 inches above the cab and I hardly noticed it but my 8" is down level and I have a hell of a drove especially around 1500rpm. Iam going to go with a 7" aussie or bullhauler to blow the soot on the cars next to me on start up instead of on my bed

thanks Durasaurus, I think a little over the cab is the way to go.

Yup, sure is. If drone is an issue though Ive heard great things about the Hushpower muffler, but they are kinda pricey.

I think dual with straight cuts would look killer, would give it the tough attitude look
