Here are some pics of the first ported head.
I started out just wanting to clean up the casting ridges, then I started seeing places that could be shaved. I have about 20 hours in this one. think I can do the next one much faster.
I plan on a dyno run after installation to see the results.
Let me know what you think.

Looks good, are you gasket matching? How much have you decided to open them up?

You will gain much more cleaning up the valve bowl area. I cannot see what you did there based on the pictures. Port matching is helpful, though.
Work on valve bowl and don't screw up the short side radius. Work on guide to port transition.

Inside the valve bowl, I removed all of the casting burs and smoothed the transition into the runners. I shaved some out of the intake runners where the two ports are side by side and beveled the edges. I'll try to get some better pics tonight .
On the exhaust side, I gasket matched, de-bured, and polished. I'm interested in the dyno results.

Here you can see how much the intake ports have been shaved.

Being it's forced induction(turbo charged) even a little mess up won't effect it as much as a naturaly aspirated engine and won't be as noticable.

Agreed. However screwing up is still possible.
