At first I jumped cause i thought it was some big bug. Sounds like a damn cricket. Only when the AC is on and driving, can't seem to make it happen with AC on and in park while looking under hood. Thought it may be time for a new belt, but it looks fine and dosen't seem loose. Although 26k miles, well ya know, by the way how often are you supposed to change these belts? or this belt?
Anyone ?

Try raising the idle speed while in park and A/C on. You might probably see the A/C clutch cut in and out. Go back to idle and the A/C clutch will stay engage. That will indicate possible low freon or a bad low pressure switch. Better take it in to have it check out. There is a TSB on the A/C issues. Not sure it will apply to a 2005 model.

has anyone done any service recently. mine did it when they spilled oil on the belt over the AC pulley. it cleared up after awhile. i would up changing my belt at 68k miles.
i remember something out there about the squeaks of the power steering pump pulley. something about the bracket being a little off from the manufacturer. the dealers were replacing the bracket and the squeak would stop. you can bring it in to the dealer and they will diagnose. the power steering pulley is iunder the ac pulley.

I took mine in for a squeek and the dealer replaced the water pump, altenator and power steering bracket. Problem fixed.
